Kelvin made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and was clearly happy to go the extra mile for guests. The guesthouse was spotless and cozy, with thoughtful touches and everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

Our room was cozy and clean, with a roomy bathroom and a lovely terrace outside. The staff were sweet and made us feel at home, and Kelvin was so welcoming. Each evening he asked how our day went and shared helpful ideas for the next one. We stayed six nights at On Pinewood Guesthouse and had a great time. We couldn't make breakfast every day, but the mornings we did, it was gorgeous. I'd happily stay here again on my next trip to Cape Town.

Newlands feels peaceful with Table Mountain looking over it, and the guesthouse is in a handy spot for getting around greater Cape Town. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting the city.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was tasty. My eggs came out just right every morning. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the quiet neighborhood has a lovely mountain view. I’ll be back soon.

We had a comfortable bed and a spacious, nicely decorated room. It was clean, and the property is kept in good shape. There was a fridge and kettle with a selection of coffees in the room. Kelvin was a great host. Highly recommend this guesthouse, and thanks to Kelvin.
