The mountain views gave Paperbark Manor a peaceful feel, and the property was spotless and beautifully kept. Bella🐾 and Lola🐾, their two friendly dogs, added to the homely atmosphere. I was there for a work trip, and from arrival I felt more like a guest in someone’s home than at a guest house. Ananda, the owner, was warm, kind, and genuinely caring, and even upgraded my room, which was a lovely surprise. The homemade muesli Ananda makes is a must-try. Complimentary laundry and ironing were thoughtful touches too. I’d happily stay here again on my next visit for the comfort and warm, home away from home feeling. Thanks to Ananda, Herbie, Bella🐾, and Lola🐾 for a memorable stay.

The views of Table Mountain and Lion's Head from the property were amazing. The rooms were clean, tidy, and serviced daily, and Ananda made me feel completely at home and relaxed. She’s a wonderful host who shares lots of information about the area. I really appreciated her hospitality, service, and the conversations over breakfast.

The room was comfortable, and I was impressed by the care put into the small comforts. The coffee station had more choices than I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was prepared as requested, and the hostess was lovely, thoughtful, and caring.

Ananda is such a charming host, and the guest house has a lovely view. The bed was comfortable, the towels were fluffy, and breakfast was delicious and freshly made. I highly recommend staying here.
