Evie and her husband were lovely hosts, and I felt safe and welcome. The rooms are clean and neat, with everything you need. If anything’s missing, Evie gets it to you promptly. It’s very close to Durbanville Central and the surrounding areas. I had a wonderful time at Pelican Place and will definitely return.

The cottages were decent enough, with a coffee station, fridge, microwave, and hotplate. We hadn’t expected feather pillows and duvets, and since we’re both allergic to them and my MIL has asthma, we had to get replacement bedding. That seemed to be a bit of an issue. The room was also somewhat dusty and dirty.

A central place to stay with a lovely, homely feel. Our self-catering unit was fully equipped. We only stayed one night, but next time we’ll come for longer. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and I’d highly recommend it.

One of the best guesthouses I’ve stayed in. It’s in a great area, close to arterial roads, and the venue and service were both great. The premises are in a safe, upmarket area.
