A terrible experience. The place is old, tatty and very dirty, with old blinds, an old boxed aircon and dead insects lying around. The owners really need to upgrade it. We checked in and left within an hour, and the stay left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth. Mr le Roux also made rude remarks in Afrikaans that left me with a bad taste. Never again.

I came to Cape Town on a last-minute business trip, and the owners were super helpful and friendly. The staff were so nice, and the views were spectacular. Thanks, Penny Lane Lodge. I’ll definitely come again.

Papa and mama welcomed us with open arms and even took us back to the airport. It was a wonderful experience staying at Penny Lane Lodge, a beautiful and pleasant place to stay.
