Elke was a great host, flexible and dependable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make the place comfortable and relaxing. The stay was a great experience. A lot going for it: affordable, WiFi and DSTV, good sized rooms, and close to attractions.

When we got to the address on 31/12/2021, the owner told us the guesthouse had been closed for two years. We had booked through hotel.com and asked for our money back straight away, but nobody has responded. We had to find somewhere else at the last minute, which was difficult and expensive. This is unacceptable. The accommodation is a scam.

Fat Max the Cat is a firm favourite with the guests, and the lovely hosts Elke and Ingrid make everyone feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is always something different, and the atmosphere is warm and lovely. A top stay.

I've stayed at Prince Lodge quite a few times. It's comfortable and relaxing, the security is wonderful, and the host goes the extra mile to make guests feel at home.

A cosy little lodge, set just above the edge of the city. De Waal Park and Gardens Shopping Centre are nearby.
