Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town

We walked in for an unplanned family lunch without booking and were welcomed and seated. It was lovely to find a place that still has that posh touch of service, which so many places seem to have lost. The doorman and hostess were great, and Ntombi, our waitress, was wonderful. She cracked jokes and kept checking on our table and the others too. The place was clean, and the bathrooms were amazing. Best, I take my hat off to you.

We appreciated being allowed to check out late, and breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. Sitting outside by the sea was nice. Our first-floor room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and a very comfy bed, although the view wasn’t great. I do think the room is quite expensive, especially compared with other hotels nearby.

We had a wonderful mix of good service and a well-curated menu at the Radisson Collection Hotel, and would recommend it for leisure or business travel. The menu has plenty of variety for different tastes and dietary needs, and the food was fresh, flavourful, well presented, and consistently good, with decent portions. However, we ordered seasonal vegetables and received something else, so please stick to what the customer orders. Thabisa, Odwa, and Nontu provided exceptional service, with warm, welcoming staff who paid attention to detail and went the extra mile from check-in through dining. Natasha, the manager, was professional, approachable, attentive, and efficient with queries, and clearly helps maintain a welcoming atmosphere and strong service. Could you please bring back the buffet menu for us?

The view is amazing, and the building is beautiful, with great facilities in a strategic location near the mall and top restaurants. Imagine having breakfast while dolphins jump to say hello! That’s something that only happens here in Cape Town. Totally recommend it.
