Radisson Red Cape Town

We return to this hotel whenever we’re in Cape Town. The rooftop bar has amazing views over Table Mountain, the CBD and Lions Head/Signal Hill, and the location near the V&A works really well. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean, with good amenities. Breakfast has plenty of choice and is a good standard, with polite, helpful staff. The rooftop bar and pool are great, though events can make them very busy. There also aren’t shower facilities for guests who’ve checked out but have a later flight. A special mention to Comment, our rooftop waiter. He was cheerful, friendly and professional, and we really enjoyed chatting with him.

The food at our retirement gathering was worth every penny, and the music, views and atmosphere made the day unforgettable. The rooftop restaurant team gave us excellent service, especially Aseve, who went out of their way to make the occasion even more special. 🙏🏽

Lauriel, the onsite concierge, really stood out. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and even contacted people she knew personally to help me find the clothing I needed for a last-minute trip to Antarctica. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the view great. With restaurants and a major shopping mall within walking distance, the location made a good base for a vacation. I had a wonderful stay and hope to return.

While my husband was sick in bed, Lauriel made sure my boys and I had fun and that I felt safe. She kept checking on the little things, helped us plan each day, and made sure we were cared for. I can’t properly express how grateful I am. I don’t think the trip would have been the same without her. Nelly at concierge helped us too, and the lovely woman at the breakfast till made my sons feel special every day. Her kindness didn’t go unnoticed. Breakfast staff were so friendly, and the location is perfect.
