Rocklands Bed and Breakfast

Such a friendly team among the staff and owners, and the sea view from our large, comfortable room was unbelievable. Having delicious breakfast while looking out over False Bay was a dream moment on our trip. I’m absolutely heartbroken we could stay for only one night.

The hospitality was super attentive, and we had a lovely room and deck with gorgeous ocean views.

The shower has a built-in head, and the water barely drains. While you're showering it gets up to your ankles. And there’s no bathroom door, so it’s an unpleasantly intimate setup, complete with all the smells and sounds.

I came on my own and needed somewhere to call home for a week while I explored all over. This was exactly right. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite so fantastic. Erica welcomed me without any fuss, showed me what I needed to know, then let me get on with my busy trip. The hosts make a perfect team. Erica runs the ship, and they’re a lovely couple with an eye for detail. They’re around whenever you need help, happy to chat and laugh, and full of useful information and advice. My room was massive, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. That instant feeling that you picked the right place hit as soon as I walked in. The big queen bed had loads of comfy cushions and pillows, and I slept really well. The spacious bathroom had everything I needed, including big towels, soaps, and gels. There was also a huge patio with two chairs and two loungers, looking over False Bay toward the mountains. A fridge and kettle with the usual bits and pieces were provided too. Breakfast arrived on time, fresh and colourful, right on the patio. I always went for fresh fruit, granola, yoghurt and honey, plus a pot of fresh coffee and all the condiments.
