The beach, restaurants, and bars are only about a 10-minute walk away, which made the location ideal. Our room was roomy, the pool was a lovely place to unwind, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Beautiful hotel, highly recommend it for a stay in Camps Bay!

The worst part was having a full glass of wine tipped over us and our electronics while we were waiting by the pool. We’d arrived early, and the staff seated us there until our room was supposedly ready, but it never was. No alternative room came through, and nobody apologized. The owner was there and made inappropriate comments, saying, “I'm man enough” to handle it, while making us out to be the problem. Clearly, that wasn’t the case. We’d carefully planned our trip to Sovn, but this felt like a poorly managed house renting out guest rooms, not a hotel. When you travel this far for a holiday, expecting reasonable assurances about safety and accommodation isn’t too much. I tried contacting the owner again before posting this and got no reply.

We had a really lovely stay at Søvn Experience+Lifestyle Boutique Hotel. The staff made us feel welcome and were attentive, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a stylish look and breathtaking views. Highly recommended!

The promenade is easy to reach on foot, and the hotel is in a great spot. It’s a lovely little place, with a super friendly team who pay attention and do their best to make your stay pleasant.

The staff were wonderful, especially Masi. They shared lots of useful ideas for things to do nearby and further afield, and helped us work out good driving routes and stops along the way. Gorgeous hotel in a fantastic location.
