For an extended stay, this had everything I needed: great service, WiFi, a gym, 24-hour security, and daily maid service. There’s a stocked kitchen with a refrigerator and stove, plus a washer and dryer. It’s in the city center, close to public transportation and only minutes from Long St., Bree Street, shops, restaurants, and vendors ❤️

The city center location made it really convenient, with a supermarket nearby, and the price felt like good value. We stayed as a family of four in January, in a spacious three-bedroom setup with one single bed, another single, and twin beds. Having a basic kitchen and refrigerator was handy for our two- or three-day visit. It’s in Cape Station, right in the center, and you can reach a supermarket and Burger King with a short walk down the escalator. The accommodation was much bigger than I expected, with lots of rooms and a very modern feel. There were around 10 washers and dryers, and paying by card was easy. It was comfortable and affordable for somewhere to sleep. The downside was the lack of living space, so relaxing basically meant being in the bedroom. That might not suit families or groups hoping for a more leisurely stay. There’s no TV either, and check-in using facial recognition instead of keys meant taking photos of everyone, which was a bit of a hassle.
