The smiling gentleman walking around was quiet, but his smile stood out too. And the man at the front desk on the evening of 08th Oct was so friendly. People like him are why we come back. Keep up the good work, sir, and thank you both.

The beds are hard, the design is old, and the systems feel dated. There are no charging plugs in the rooms, so bring your own. TV channels are basically nonexistent, the WiFi is incredibly slow, and the room keys keep failing. Being on the 3rd floor and having to go up and down to get a key sorted is ridiculous. Check-in takes forever too. It feels like they want maximum profits with minimal effort. Be prepared to be very disappointed. This isn’t the worst one in the group, but some of the other sun1s are horrible.

The vending machine was broken, and the service wasn’t friendly at all. We’d ordered breakfast, but at 11am, when it was supposed to be ready, they told us they don’t serve breakfast anymore. Terrible experience.

The apartment suited my wife, our grand daughter and me perfectly for our week’s stay. The staff were very friendly, and the secure parking was useful. The hotel was in very good, clean condition, with what looked like fresh paint and new carpets. The cleaning staff kept it spotless throughout the day. If you’re driving there, approach from Koeberg road.
