The staff made us feel at home from the moment they met us outside and helped with bags at check-in and check-out. Keisha, Tonderai and Jessica were welcoming, warm, attentive, informative, and hardworking, and they quickly and happily sorted out what we needed. Service like that made a real difference. The room was a peaceful tropical haven, with thoughtful decor, a very comfortable bed, and a stunning bathroom. Both the bath and shower were amazing, with great pressure, size, and heat. The facilities, food, and service all exceeded what we expected, and I left happy and rested. And breakfast was a treat: a colourful, delicious spread of continental and hot options, mini smoothies, green juices, chia pudding fruit cups, fresh fruit and nuts, soft bread, and homemade ginger-orange marmalade that turned me into a fan.

The garden and swimming pool are amazing, and the food was delicious. The owners were so friendly and very helpful, and the staff were excellent, warm, and kind. I had a great time and wish I could've stayed longer. Thanks to everyone for the hospitality during our visit!

Jessie, the cute husky, is a lovely, friendly part of the staff, and I loved her welcome. The lodge is stunning, with exquisite gardens in a quiet part of Somerset west. It feels like a real home and is family friendly.

We had an amazing stay and loved it. The people were very nice, the rooms were clean and great, and breakfast was amazing. The location is ideal for visiting Stellenbosh and the wine lands.
