Getting around was easy, with downtown close by and the beach within walking distance. The pool was pleasant, though pretty small. Inside, the place was mostly clean, but the shower, carpet, cabinets, and much of the room looked old and dated. I noticed the same dated feel in the lobby, lift, and corridors, and the unused tub had stains that made it seem like it might not have been cleaned. The WiFi was unreliable and slow, too. For this price, I expected more, and I’m not sure how the hotel gets a four-star rating with the cleanliness and condition as they were.

The manager got in touch before we arrived and even sent photos of how the room would be set up, so we knew it would suit us. That personal attention made us feel welcome from the start. At The Bantry Aparthotel by Totalstay in Sea Point, the staff were warm and attentive, and they handled every request quickly and happily. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it for the hospitality and lovely location. ❤️❤️❤️

The rooms are roomy and practical, and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We also used the in-room self-catering facilities a couple of times. Breakfast is still very good, and the bar and food by the pool make a handy option. The pool and outdoor dining space are sheltered, which is especially nice in windy CT, and we spend plenty of our holiday unwinding there. This was our fourth visit, and it confirmed that this is where we want to stay when we holiday in Cape Town. We were greeted so warmly by familiar smiling staff, and we love the team and the atmosphere they bring. The location works well too: the hop-on bus stop is across the road and the promenade is just a short walk away. Thanks again to the Bantry Team!

The stay was comfortable, with good service, and the Sea Point location made it convenient. The promenade is walkable and the V&A Waterfront is only a few minutes away by car. Two small things felt a bit odd: they didn’t leave complimentary bottled water every day, and the parking spaces were quite cramped. Otherwise, a good place to stay in Sea Point.

We started our Cape holiday here and used the red bus for the first two days to get a feel for town, then switched to Uber. The stop for the Red 1 bus tours is only about 50 yards away at the end of Regents Road, and the beach promenade is around 100 yards away. MOJO'd is nearby and was a fun place to eat. The accommodation was very clean, and there’s a nice bar and a small pool area to relax in. They had DStv, so I could watch the EPL live.
