We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful modern hotel. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were so warm, welcoming and attentive. It’s in a lovely residential neighbourhood with great restaurants close by, and you’re just moments from Sea Point and the shore. The garden is magnificent, and the hotel is perfectly quiet and peaceful.

The rooms have a great minimalist design, and the hotel has a really cool boutique feel. It’s small, which makes the interactions even better. Gift and his team are warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was great. This is the best way to travel.

Gift was a wonderful help, stowing our luggage when we had time to spare. Daud made the loveliest lattes each morning, and Mavuto greeted us whenever we came or went. The service from all three was wonderful. Security was always at the front gate, which made us feel very safe. The room was clean and spacious, and the pool area had a chic vibe. The hotel is on the side of a hill, with views of the water and surrounding mountains. We could walk to several restaurants in Sea Point and to the hop on hop off bus stop. I’d highly recommend it if you want somewhere to relax between exploring Cape Town.

Everyone on the staff was so kind, friendly, helpful and caring. You can feel how much heart the team puts into making the place warm and welcoming. The Clarendon genuinely feels like coming home, which is what sets it apart for us. A perfect 10/10, and we’ll definitely be back very soon. This was our second stay, and it was just as wonderful as the first one two years ago. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful, and perfectly placed within walking distance of Sea Point hotspots and countless great restaurants nearby. The rooms look stunning and modern, almost brand new. The pool is lovely and relaxing, and the food is great.

We’d happily stay at the Clarendon again. My husband and I were there on a trip to Capetown, and the staff made our honeymoon feel special with thoughtful touches throughout our stay. It was a comfortable, personal experience, and I’d highly recommend it.
