Getting to restaurants and cafes is easy, and there are two off-road parking spaces or plenty of free street parking if you avoid the yellow lines. The en-suite room was nice, with lots of wardrobe space. Oddly, there was no plug for the hand basin, especially surprising in a place where water is scarce.

The place has a lively feel that makes it easy to let your artistic side out. It’s a nice break from everyday routine, and they’re still doing good things to make the B&B feel even better.

It’s pretty affordable and close to Newlands and the shopping malls. I liked the art, and the rooms were clean. The kitchen was well furnished too. Wi-Fi was a bit unstable, but usable.

I stayed there last week and found it safe and peaceful. The staff were really warm, even though I only spoke with them by phone and didn’t meet them in person. I’d happily recommend the place.

We loved how thoughtful and nicely prepared the breakfast was. The host was lovely too.
