The Greenhouse Boutique Hotel

Our big room had a microwave and fridge, and the location was handy between town and the waterfront. Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants were all within walking distance. Reception staff were very friendly. The desk doesn't stay open all evening, but there's a night porter next door. Good value for money.

Judith was really helpful and so nice, and it was easy to reach the owners, reception and the after-hours numbers. The information book covered tours, restaurants, medical help and more. It's about five minutes from Bo-Kaap and V&A Waterfront. The place was peaceful and quiet, and I absolutely loved my stay. I'll definitely be back.

Gordon was amazing, and the owners were kind and accommodating. The place was comfortable and conveniently located. A booking error, which wasn't Greenhouse's fault, meant they had no record of my reservation when we arrived. Since they couldn't offer a room for the whole stay, they put us up down the street at their other facility for the night when another booking was scheduled. The place was otherwise clean, though I'd suggest replacing the dirty rugs in the rooms that have them and on the stairs with easier-to-clean flooring. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We had a pleasant stay with lovely hosts. Barbara greeted us warmly and was friendly, and the room was comfortable with beautiful decor. I loved the stained glass windows. The stairs were steeper than we expected, so they could be hard if you have bad knees. The nightlife on the main road was a little noisy too.
