The Majestic Apartment

Cynthia gave me a fantastic massage, and the 90 minutes flew by. I left feeling like a million dollars. The Majestic grounds are magnificent, with beautifully kept gardens that are a delight to walk through. There’s also a crystal clear pool and a well positioned, functional gym. I’d love to own a property here one day. I’ll definitely recommend it to our overseas guests for future accommodation.

The apartment’s biggest letdown for me was housekeeping. It wasn’t provided, and our towels weren’t changed during the stay. We asked for at least a towel change, but only one was replaced. The shower also looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The harbor view apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had lovely sea views. The location is convenient, tranquil, and close to many good restaurants and cafés. But it seems better suited to summer. It got quite cold, with no heaters or air-conditioning. The woodburning fireplace helped some, but after the fire went out overnight, especially in the loft, it became really cold.

I keep coming back for my regular treatments, and it’s also a lovely place to treat the family for occasions like Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. The owner is very sweet, the setting is relaxed, and the treatments are so relaxing. The staff are excellent and take good care of you.

I was travelling solo and loved the getaway from home, especially as I’m working around the clock. I could set up my computer and work all weekend with a view. Reception was kind and the service was good. It’s a pity the spa couldn’t fit me in for a treatment. I’ll be back! Lara x
