The view from the room was fantastic, and I could see Table Mountain. Marie, the owner, was so accommodating. Honestly, everything about this place felt amazing. We’re definitely coming back in April.

The bed was really comfortable, and the large bedroom came with a lovely view of Table Mountain. Having a bath was a nice extra.

We loved cooling off in the refreshing pool at the end of the day. The location also worked well for us, close to shopping malls, restaurants and Welgelegen wine farm. Riaan and Marie were lovely hosts, friendly and helpful. Our air-conditioned room was modern, clean, well organized and very comfortable, with a full view of Table Mountain and Lions Head.

Marie helped us plan the next few days by calling a trusted agent, and when our itinerary changed, she kindly drove us herself to Fairview Wine farm and DeVilliers Chocolate Factory. Her friend from Namibia joined us, which made the day extra special. We were celebrating our February birthdays with a three-night stay, and Marie even waited up for us after our flight from Jhb was delayed by an hour and a half. We reached her gate around 21h00 and she made us feel at ease. In the morning, she and her team left us in peace to sleep in, and we made a late breakfast in her well-equipped kitchen. My twin sister and I are from Eswatini, and we had a great time. Marie Slabbert's Model House gets my 100% recommendation. She’s hospitable, thorough, funny, respectful of her clients, and really goes the extra mile.
