There's convenient courtyard parking, and the Gardens location is very green. It's about 10 minutes from Table Mountain on one side and the Waterfront on the other, with Camps Bay also easy to reach. The old mansion has a lovely charm, and the small hotel has sweet, attentive staff. Rooms are clean, though we could hear some voices from outside because the soundproofing isn't perfect in an old building. Breakfast could perhaps have been a little more varied and better quality, but it was a minor detail and didn't bother us much. We'd definitely recommend it as a nice place to stay.

The staff were the best part of our stay at TBH, all the ladies were really friendly. Ask them to teach you some Xhosa, it's an impressive language. After about a month in Cape Town and seeing lots of areas, we found the location second to none. Cafes, bars, restaurants, running routes and pickup football are all around, and the rooftop has a great view of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. On a hot day you can cool off with a dip in the pool, or have a siesta and watch Netflix in your room. All the best!

The rooftop deck has some of the best views for an afternoon sundowner. Service at this fine establishment is incredible, the staff are friendly, breakfast is superb and the rooms are a comfortable size. Edna, Tania and Desiree will go out of their way for regular guests. Highly recommend giving it a shot if you need a great hotel in the city.

This charming little hotel is in the Gardens area of Cape Town, and my room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was okay, though there wasn't really room service. It's on the pricey side, and the old building can be noisy. I was in a courtyard-facing room and could hear people talking outside.

I only stayed for one day, but the staff and breakfast were so amazing that I already knew I'd come back whenever I'm in Cape Town. They make sure you're comfortable and happy. The service here is some of the best I've ever had. I'd recommend them any day!
