Train Lodge

We got to the airport at 22:30 and called to check that everything was okay, only to discover our booking had been CANCELLED. They hadn’t even had the courtesy to call and tell us there was no room for us. Thank goodness we found somewhere to stay. Completely unprofessional. If I could give NO STARS, I would. I’ll post this on every review site so nobody else ends up in the same position. PATHETIC.

The event venue was too cramped for the number of people there. If you hold an event here, keep attendance limited so everyone has enough room.

At the huge event we attended, people were allowed through the gate as they pleased while others waited in the queue for hours. Queue management was disorganized, and even the musicians didn’t know where to enter. Parking was very limited, and the road is too narrow for two vehicles to pass at once. The parking attendants were local 'bergies' who didn’t care where people parked as long as they got paid, then left. Further down the road, parking felt scary and dodgy, with no security watching the cars. I’d expect a vehicle to be broken into or stolen.

I don’t understand why it’s on Google or called a lodge. As a train lodge, I expected the train coaches to be set up nicely, but the rooms inside are tiny, very hot and have no space. On top of that, the bathrooms are shared and the cost is very high. Not a good place at all.
