Tyger Hills Guest House

I stayed at Tyger hills Guest House for a full 3 months, working from home in comfort, and would definitely visit again for leisure. The rooms were spacious, private, comfortable, neat, and clean, with an excellent view. The property is centrally located near amenities in a safe, secure suburb. The owners welcomed me on arrival and were helpful and kind throughout. I felt so at home that the time away didn't really feel like time away. The humble staff working there were magnificent. Even during load-shedding, the rooms had smart televisions and Wi-Fi that weren't affected.

They made us feel at home. Our rooms were always clean, and we felt safe. It was the best stay with such a friendly, loving family. Thank you 🙏

We felt safe and looked after at Tygerhills Guest House, and Martin and Henriette were so welcoming. When we realized we'd left a charging cable at home, Martin quickly lent us a spare. Housekeeping was included, which helped with our busy schedule, and the price felt worth every cent. The suite had everything we needed, including a functional kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and crockery. There was plenty of cupboard space, a large TV with lots of channels, and Wi-Fi. The bathroom was spacious, with a corner bath and shower. In the main room, the double and single beds were comfortable and tastefully decorated. They were warm and cozy in the cold weather. We always had hot water, day or night, and the backup system meant we barely noticed load shedding. From the enclosed balcony we could see Table mountain. The property is well cared for, very central, and security gets 10 out of 10 from us. We had a lovely stay and will see you again.

The location worked really well, right by the N1 and about 20 km from the city centre. The views are lovely, and the rooms were spacious and consistently clean. The owners and staff were friendly and ready to help. I’d recommend Tygerhills Guesthouse to friends and family. Thanks for a great stay!
