The restaurant has breathtaking views over Table Mountain, and there’s plenty of seating indoors and out, so we could pick a spot. Breakfast was a generous spread, with à la carte options as well, and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This fabulous hotel keeps the charm of an earlier era while still feeling modern, crisp, and comfortable.

Breakfast at Ginja was included and tasty, with a good variety and friendly, attentive service. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and our spacious, spotless room had a beautiful view of the harbour and water, with Table Mountain behind it. We arrived to staff who were super friendly and already waiting for us, so check-in was seamless and stress-free. The Victoria & Alfred Hotel was a wonderful stay. Slippers and an iron or ironing board in the room would have made it even better, but otherwise everything was excellent. Great location and service, and we’d happily return.

We loved staying at this beautiful boutique style hotel on the Capetown waterfront and wished we could have stayed longer. The food was superb and very reasonably priced. It’s close to the Wharf Mall and lots of fantastic restaurants. A really exceptional experience, and I’d recommend it to everyone.

The terrace at the beautifully designed restaurant was a lovely place to have breakfast, and the reception, restaurant, and valet parking staff were especially friendly. The hotel is well positioned for enjoying the lively Cape Town Waterfront, with excellent places to eat, drink, and shop all around. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the Mountain Facing rooms have good views of the mountain and harbor. You can also use the pool, spa, and gym at the nearby Queen Victoria Hotel. One small thing puzzled me: breakfast was included, but basic items like coffee and eggs cost extra. It wasn’t an exorbitant amount, though. A very good choice for a stay in this charming city.

We had a very pleasant stay at Victoria & Alfred Hotel. Its location makes it easy to enjoy the lively V&A Waterfront, with great places to eat, drink, and shop nearby. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lovely views of the mountains and harbour. Breakfast was enjoyable in the hotel’s beautifully designed restaurant. Staff at reception, in the restaurant, and at valet parking were particularly friendly and helpful. A great option in this charming city.
