The garden was a little paradise, with lovely plants, fountains and a stream running through it. Everything was immaculately kept, and the pool area, sauna and bar made it easy to unwind. Inside, the rooms were stylish and spotless, with comfortable beds and good heating even in winter. Villa Coloniale Schumacher in Constantia feels like a real oasis of class. You can see the care and passion Ralf, Fabian and the team put into the place as soon as you arrive. Breakfast was freshly made each morning and served beautifully, either inside or outside. It was world-class, and a wonderful start to the day. Fabian and the staff are warm, attentive and full of useful local tips, even for people who know South Africa well. The villa is in the heart of the safe, scenic Constantia wine region, close to Cape Town and the main attractions. It’s a luxury villa run with real care. After staying here, it’s easy to see why guests return. We can’t wait to come back in January! 😇🍷

The garden was a beautiful oasis where we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Every detail throughout Villa Coloniale Schumacher felt thoughtfully arranged, and the staff, especially Jo and Fabian, were kind, friendly and helpful. We had a real pleasure staying for two nights. Thanks for the hospitality, we’ll definitely return.

The hosts were fantastic, and the breakfast was amazing. They seemed to anticipate everything we might need. It’s a peaceful, central spot that feels exclusive but still homely, with lovely attention to detail. Such a beautiful place to stay, highly recommended!

Camps Bay is an easy drive, and the winelands are easy to reach too. Breakfast was really good, and they went out of their way for some unusual requests. The service made it a true five-star experience. Highly recommended.
