Villa Costa Rose

Neil made our first stop in Cape Town, on our honeymoon, really special. He introduced us to the area and gave us so many recommendations. We stayed three nights and would have stayed longer if we hadn’t had other places to be. The location was perfect, with lots of great spots within walking distance, and we felt very safe the whole time. We loved the pool area and the amazing breakfast. It’s been almost a month since our visit to Villa Costa Rose, and my husband is still talking about the breakfast and Neil’s wonderful hospitality 🥰

Neil is a friendly, attentive host with lots of helpful local knowledge. This little boutique guest house has a lovely personal feel, with everything you could ask for. The rooms are clean and have good facilities and extras. Breakfast is fabulous, with plenty of continental choices and a great home-cooked option if you want something more. There’s also a garden where you can eat outside, sunbathe or relax, plus a small pool. I highly recommend it.

Neil and his team gave us a great stay in this quiet little hideaway on a back road in Seapoint. It’s a handy base for visiting Cape Town, and the Hop-on-Hop-off bus station is very close. We stayed in the garden room, a small, pleasant room with a comfy bed and everything we needed. The house has a lovely cat who doesn’t go into the guest rooms, though it does appear in the breakfast room. Breakfast was delicious, with British and continental choices, eggs, and vegan options on request. Neil also gave us good dinner recommendations within walking distance. We didn’t need a car, though if you do have one, you’ll need to find parking on the street.

The location and spotless rooms made our stay at Villa Costa Rose a great experience. The rooms are well equipped, including air conditioning and heating, and the breakfast was spectacular. Neil was kind, welcoming and attentive the whole time. He deserves all the best.
