We appreciated how safe we felt, thanks to the security guards, and the mall is only a minute away. We really enjoyed our stay. The hard part was the regular smell of weed from people smoking every day. As non-smokers, we found it unpleasant and difficult to put up with.

The water was off for a full day, which wasn't a major issue, but it's something to know. We also had to repair a kitchen cabinet ourselves after finding it broken when we moved in. The much bigger problem was bed bugs in the apartment we rented. We spent a week getting bitten before anyone took our concern seriously. They kept saying the bites were mosquitoes because the place is near water, but we're from Canada and know what mosquito bites look like. We couldn't see or hear any mosquitoes. A woman came with a magnifying glass and said she knew what she was doing, yet said she couldn't find anything. Our family friend spotted the bugs easily with just an iron and a phone. I came away feeling the rooms aren't properly cleaned or checked before new tenants arrive. Living in an apartment that felt infested was filthy and awful, especially for what we paid. I would not rent here.

We had a great view, and the place is right by Canal Walk shopping mall and the nature walk. The mattress in our room was a bit odd, unfortunately, flatter on one side.

Our apartment was at the end of the passage, so we had a wider look out over the landscape. Check-in was easy, and the Century City location puts all the facilities within walking distance. The layout was unusual and interesting, with every room well appointed. The furniture and bedding felt modern and comfortable for the space, and all the electronic equipment worked properly.

The view is nice, but you can see it just as well by walking past for free. Inside the block, maintenance seems badly neglected: the elevators keep breaking, the electronic doors don't work, and there's barely any water pressure. It takes over 20 minutes for the hot tap to warm up. Security steal from cars in the underground parking. Airbnb guests are constantly making loud noise after midnight, while security guards laugh and are no help. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Maybe try it for Airbnb, but renting is overpriced garbage. Find somewhere else.
