Zest Boutique Hotel

The staff went above and beyond to help us, including keeping our spare luggage for a few days while we went elsewhere. They later returned it to us. The hotel is small and stylish, and you feel well looked after. We stayed several nights in Cape Town; the rooms were great, and the interior, including the little courtyard, is very stylish. It’s a short walk down to the waterfront during the day. For airport transfers and getting back after dinner, the staff can arrange a driver named Peter, who was really lovely and always able to bring us back. Breakfast was great, with a continental buffet and cooked choices from the menu. A great boutique option if you want to be central in Cape Town.

Natale, the manager, gave us a thorough orientation and helped us get in touch with a day tour. Both the manager and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and the afternoon cake was a delicious bonus. Our room was quiet and spacious, with special treats, flowers, and wine for our anniversary. The car service was convenient for a fee and arrived on time.

The personal welcome here really made our stay. The food and hospitality were wonderful, and you can walk safely to the V&A waterfront. This boutique place makes you feel like part of the family. If you value that personal touch, you'll love it.

The team made sure we were comfortable even though our room wasn't ready after our long overnight flight from London. We could freshen up, eat something, and rest in the lounge, with refreshing drinks waiting when we arrived. Each evening, someone checked whether we needed water, extra towels, or just a chat. They were so welcoming, asked about our day, and had useful recommendations. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and bars, and Ubers are easy to get. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with a lovely big bathroom. Breakfast had a great choice of continental items and hot food. The little bar offered a thoughtful selection of local and branded drinks, and the pool was a welcome way to cool down after sightseeing. I also loved the small eco-friendly detail: we were asked to catch the shower's initial cold water in a bucket so it could be used to water plants. A thoughtful idea.
