Bastion House

The gardens and greenery at Bastion House are gorgeous. I loved them enough to ask to move closer to the garden so I could enjoy it more. The guesthouse itself is exquisite, and Antoinette took time to show me around and tell me its history, which made the visit feel personal. Everything was so carefully looked after, right down to the neatly folded and pressed toilet paper rolls. The place was spotless, and the staff were professional, attentive, and friendly throughout. Antoinette and Johan welcomed me so warmly from the moment I arrived. Their genuine kindness and willingness to do anything to make me feel at home set the tone for my stay. I've found my new favourite place to stay in Irene. Thank you for such a memorable visit.

I felt completely safe here, and everything was very clean. The garden area and facilities are lovely, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. I stayed once and would definitely return.

The owner was welcoming and respectful, and the venue itself was spectacular for a baby shower. The rooms look fantastic, and I've never seen such an interesting structural design. I'd highly recommend Bastion House for a comfortable night or a work night out.

The breakfasts were superb, and all the staff were polite and helpful. As an international guest, I felt very well looked after, with every question answered. I spent the last 9 days with the wonderful hosts at Bastion House, loved my stay, and look forward to coming back. Kind regards, Phill Breese.
