Thanda Manzi Country Hotel

The only letdown was how hard it was to get help in the restaurant. Waiters were often inattentive, and I sometimes waited a long time or had to go looking for one. At my last meal I couldn't find anyone to pay for an extra drink, so I had to contact reception. It kept happening during my stay. The rest was just what I wanted for a solo break: lovely rooms, a beautiful location, and a peaceful feel. Waking up to the river, birds, and fresh air, then seeing the sunrise and sunset, was special. Reception, housekeeping, and the other staff were amazing. I'd happily return and recommend it for a quiet nature escape, and without the restaurant service issue it would've been a 10/10.

Martin and his team deserve a special thank you for taking such good care of us. From our warm welcome to the spotless, comfortable room, everything was thoughtfully handled, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. Thanda Manzi Country Lodge was peaceful and beautifully kept, just right for resting and recharging. Our two nights left us feeling refreshed and grateful. We’d highly recommend it for a tranquil getaway and will certainly return.

A big thank you to Mr Martin and the team for making our stay comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the chef even made oats for my sister's two-year-old, although it wasn't part of breakfast. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and we’ll definitely come back.

The Terrace and Lapa Restaurant was a lovely spot for celebrating my birthday with two friends. Ellington gave us the best service. We’re already planning another visit for lunch, an overnight stay, spa treatments, and a picnic the next day. Ten out of ten.
