Lani's enthusiasm really comes through in the food, and having the restaurant right there is so handy. The garden is gorgeous, too. We found the rooms clean and comfortable, with quality bedding and great amenities. Such a lovely, unexpected Karoo oasis, and the hospitality was amazing.

The room looked beautiful, and the service and food were good. But it was extremely cold because the heater hadn't worked since I arrived. I have asthma and sinus problems, and the carpets really affected me. The dogs also go everywhere, including into the restaurant, which feels like a health hazard waiting to happen.

It's hard to find a clean, safe Karoo stay that makes room for pets, and this place ticks all the boxes. The owners are hands-on and involved. I'll definitely be back!

I loved the lamb at the beautiful restaurant, one of the best meals I've had in ages. Everyone was so kind and made us feel like family from the minute we arrived. The place is safe, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully designed. If you're travelling alone, I'd put it high on the list. I'd absolutely return, and definitely recommend it. Seven out of five!

The old house is beautiful, and the large rooms have lovely furnishings, wooden floors, and comfy beds with heated blankets. You can hear some noise through the floors, so it isn't completely quiet, but we still had a lovely stay. True Living, the restaurant next door, belongs in a glossy magazine. Everything is made from scratch and the food is unbelievable. So impressed with Lani, well done!
