I love staying at FarSide Manor. It's my go-to stopover and a welcome break from the concrete of Jozi. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well looked after, with everything you could need. Their crisp linen and beautiful wooden leaded cottage windows look out over the countryside and rolling hills. They make you feel part of the family, and breakfast is superb, especially the fresh fruit and jams.

One night at FarSide was much too short. The lodge and rooms are gorgeous, and the location is scenic, beautiful, and peaceful. Ryan was a generous host, and Abel was an amazing chef. I'll be back as soon as I can!

The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly prepared, and breakfast was a real highlight: delicious, beautifully presented, and made with care. The resident dog and cats won us over with how friendly and affectionate they were, adding to the homely feel. We had a wonderful stay at The Far Side Country Manor. The hosts were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. We left feeling relaxed and appreciated, and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

The food made our stay even better. Abel takes great pride in his homely English country kitchen, with its character-filled old Aga stove, and the meals were delicious. Thanks as well to Ryan, who welcomed us warmly and was always helpful. Far Side Manor is a charming Midlands escape, with lovely stone architecture, cozy interiors, and a peaceful setting. We had a wonderful stay, though it was much too short. We'll be back.
