The advert makes it sound like you can come in off the street for a meal, but you need to book or they’ll turn you away. Guests staying at De Herberg are served, walk-ins aren’t. I wish the listing made that clear and said bookings are needed before 11:00. Edit: The owner took offense at me pointing out this rule. I’m just trying to save others the wasted trip if they don’t book.

The T bone steak at dinner was one of the best I’ve had, and breakfast was good too. My room was clean, neat, and had everything I needed. The owners and staff were attentive and helpful. Highly recommended 👌

There’s loads of parking, and the rooms are clean. A great place, with really spacious rooms.

What stood out most was how happy and genuinely friendly the staff seemed. I stayed three nights, and the owner and team were so welcoming and accommodating. My room was spacious, comfortable, clean, modernized, and well equipped. The garden was lovely too, with lots of animal statues to spot. There’s a variety of meals on the menu, all excellently prepared and delicious, at unbelievably good prices. De Herberg is an easy recommendation for service, comfort, and value.
