Rita and Frank made us feel so welcome. They're friendly and fun, and know the area and its activities well. We had everything we needed in our lovely room with a fantastic view. The beach was within walking distance, and nature was all around us. We loved watching the beautiful sugar birds with their long tails come to drink from the water feeders, and enjoyed our walks to the harbour and the cove. My husband and I had an amazing time in De Kelders/Gansbaai. It really felt like a home away from home, and we loved every moment.

The apartments are stocked for self-catering, and the guesthouse can also provide breakfast and dinners on request. There's great attention to detail, and the beach is within walking distance. The views are incredible, and the friendly owners gave us useful information about the surrounding area. Be sure to enquireabout their Zen tours. This place felt like our own little piece of paradise, a mermaid's dream. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I'd recommend it to anyone travelling who wants to experience this magical place.

Rita and Frank were fantastic. We arrived with nowhere to go, and Rita welcomed us like family. She noticed I was stressed and tired, offered me a glass of wine, and took care of everything. Frank makes warm muffins better than my grandmother, and Rita sorted out all my poor planning around dinner and my shark dive the next day. The room was fantastic, very clean, with a great bed and fluffy comfort. I felt a weight lift as soon as I checked in, and I really needed that. I can't imagine a better place to be looked after. South African service is hard to beat, and Rita and Frank's place may be the best of all.
