Breakfast was the highlight for us, they put so much effort into it and it was amazing. I came with my family at Christmas, and everyone treated us with so much kindness, like we were family.

Alex and Ma’am Dorothy are the best. The place has a homey feel, with friendly service and a great breakfast. We had such an amazing stay at La Peng Guesthouse this December. It’s such a bargain, and I’d highly recommend booking here for a vacation :)

We were welcomed with refreshing juice and a beautifully presented fruit and snack platter, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Our room had an amazing view, plus its own TV and aircon for those hot summer days. It’s super close to the airport. I highly recommend this guesthouse. Regards, Jade

The sunrise over the Indian Ocean was a complete surprise since it was dark when we were shown to our room. The room was comfortable and clean, and its deck with ocean views was a lovely spot to relax. We arrived hours later than expected, but Dorothy and Alex still made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were lovely, and we really enjoyed spending time with them. As far as I could tell, you need a car to get there. Our car’s Tom-Tom GPS didn’t seem to recognize their location.

The top floor is all yours if you pick the upper room, which has a separate bathroom and a private deck looking out over the sea with a 180° view. The sunrise is spectacular, and blinding too :-) The little rooms are very comfy, and there’s a great continental breakfast every morning with plenty of choice. Some of the friendliest service ever.
