I went on Sunday and ordered a platter for five. They recommended the large meat platter for R600, but I was really disappointed. It was just finger foods, and it didn’t feel large or worth the price. I regretted ordering it and won’t go back.

There are a few things that need attention. The basement parking is filthy and disgusting, with water dripping down the walls. The plastic toilet door doesn’t close properly, and there are gaps in the roof sealing joints where creepy crawlies could get in.

Really friendly staff and the best service. The rooms were clean, warm, and welcoming, and both breakfast and dinner tasted delicious.

This was the worst place I’ve been to. The lodge is next to a Tarven, and the food wasn’t nice at all. There were guns firing outside and cars spinning around. The receptionist wasn’t at the desk, and they had to call her; she arrived wearing a gown. The parking felt really dodgy, had no gate, and seemed like a park-at-your-own-risk situation. In the room, the light switch was all the way by the door, the shower wasn’t spotless, and yes, we slept in a double bed 😭.
