The pool was lovely for cooling off and relaxing, and breakfast was delicious. Anthurium Lodge felt like a home away from home, with private, spotless rooms. Rose was lovely and always ready to help, and Veronique was a wonderful host. Shops are nearby, and there’s a microwave for warming a ready-cooked meal or something similar. You can use the braai area by arrangement. I highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast outside under the lapa, beside the Coy Pond, was a real treat in such a peaceful setting. Veronique made us feel very welcome, and the guest room was nicely furnished with everything we needed. We came to Anthurium Lodge for a little break from home and loved it. I only stayed two nights for work, after a mix-up with the accommodation down the road, but I felt welcome straight away. John and Vee are warm and friendly while still being professional. My room was spacious and clean, with a lovely shower and a great TV, and I slept like a baby. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this place in Durban North. Thanks very much.

The renovations during our visit didn’t bother us. Jan and Veronique were very friendly, and the accommodation was spacious and tidy. It worked perfectly for our business trip.

The rooms were impeccable, the staff were so helpful, and the owner was very pleasant. We visited the Lodge on 15 December and checked out on the 16th. Breakfast was tasty, and the whole stay was worth it. A definite five out of five for me. Joeleen Anderson
