The pool and jacuzzi are a nice bonus, and everything felt well run. Rooms are fresh, tidy, uncluttered, and clean, with lovely hot showers and everything you need. The staff are helpful and friendly without being in the way, and the manageress gives the place a personal touch. It's central too: a five minute walk to Spar, eight minutes to the beach, twelve to a shopping centre, and just a quick drive to Gateway.

I was very happy staying here. It's clean, well equipped, good value, and in a good location. Everything felt relaxed and hassle free, and checking in and out was as easy as coming and going from my own home. I'll definitely recommend it and come back.

Our family had such a relaxed time at Chopper Corner. The peaceful, quiet setting and beautiful view made every minute in Durban special, and the team under Ciara was the friendliest and most welcoming I've met at any accommodation. They were kind and helpful throughout. Chopper Corner feels like a holiday destination all by itself. We can't wait to return.

We felt safe and right at home in Ciara's beautiful guesthouse. The daily cleaning of our self catering unit at no extra cost was a welcome surprise, something I'd normally expect only at a hotel. We were able to really enjoy our holiday, and we'd definitely return to Chopper Corner guesthouse next time we're visiting Durbz. Thanks, Ciara, for the wonderful hospitality.

We had a great view and shopping centres close by, which made the area a good place to stay. The property is secure and works well for a weekend away, with friendly staff who are around whenever you need them. Everyone can relax and have a good time here. I can honestly give it five stars for everything you need.
