Lothian rd Cottage

The peaceful setting and the lovely green views were a real highlight, and we also enjoyed the pool and braai area. On New Year’s Day the owner stopped by for a lovely chat. The rooms were neat and amazing for an affordable family stay, with renovated showers and air conditioning. The woman working there was friendly, offered to clean the room in the mornings, and was fun to laugh with. I did spot one strand of hair in the fridge’s ice cube tray, and one night a millipede, which looked to me like a long, flattened insect with lots of legs, dropped onto the bed. Everything else was perfect for us. I’d give it 4/5.

Absolutely pathetic. They lost our reservation and blamed us, the staff were rude, and the price was high. The bathroom was tiny and had no door. Never again.

The place felt secure, and the cottages were clean and well cared for. It’s private and peaceful, with different options for different budgets. I spent a little extra and was glad I did: there was a shower, an overhead feature, air conditioning, a fridge, and a microwave. There’s also a pool and braai area worth checking out. Book a longer stay if you want to enjoy the benefits properly. I really didn’t want to leave, and I’ll definitely be back regularly. Trust me, you won’t regret the experience.

A safe, clean place with great service. It’s an easy spot to relax or get ready for meetings. Felt like home away from home.
