Olive Room Bed and Breakfast

The garden, pool, rooms, and the place overall are stunning, and it feels good to stay here. Marianne the hostess welcomed us warmly, and the lovely lady who looks after our room always had a beautiful smile. Thanks for such a good stay, we’ll come back.

We had a lovely, clean room with a very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and towels in all sizes. It had everything we needed, from an iron to a microwave and more. The host made sure we had what we needed and let us check out later because no guests were due to arrive that day. Definitely worth every penny.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower good, but this wasn’t really a bed and breakfast, it was self-catering. There was only a microwave and fridge in the room. During my week-long stay the towels weren’t replaced, and there was no milk for tea or coffee.

The location made it easy for my young daughter and me to explore Durban, and our hosts were about as helpful as they could be. We were very comfortable in the room, with a TV, WiFi, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee station. For a longer visit, I’d pick one of the quieter lower-level rooms overlooking its own garden. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here.
