The room's hygiene was questionable. There was a chip on the floor from previous guests, plus paper and a wrapper beside the sleeper couch, which had stains from previous guests' activities. I asked the front desk about the cleaning, and they called the manager. The manager apologised and offered to move us, but after a long day the family was already in bed. I did receive a small partial refund for the room not being cleaned. The staff service was okay. I had called to ask the price, but when I arrived it had gone up, and I was told that the phone quote had never been the price. Also, if you stay in room 232, be ready for an early start: it gets bright at 04:20.

Three years ago I went on a school trip here, and we had the best time 😀 The bathrooms were always clean, the TV worked, and our sheets were spotless. We had lovely hot showers, and the people were so kind. They provided their merch, and we never felt unsafe 😁

I stayed for three nights and didn't have a single problem. The place was very clean, the staff were super friendly, and it's well located, close to everything.

The room was clean, but it's a bit cramped if you're travelling with lots of luggage. McDonald's is nearby, so food is easy to find, and there's a restaurant in the hotel too.

For the three days I stayed at Road Lodge Durban, I was full of joy and happiness 😊 It's a clean, really good hotel in a convenient spot, with easy access to beaches, malls, Macdonald and Museums.
