Bayside Lodge Empangeni

The staff were wonderful throughout my stay. The manager, front desk team, and cleaning staff were all friendly and genuinely helpful, and they went out of their way to make me comfortable. The room was clean, Wi-Fi was great, and the air conditioner worked well. The price was reasonable, and having security around the clock gave me some peace of mind. Sleep was a different story. Guests slammed doors, children ran along the corridor late at night, and the staircase creaked loudly whenever anyone used it. The guard also made noise opening the gate, early or late. An electric gate would help. Parking was another problem: there were no covered spaces or marked bays, so you had to park wherever there was room in the yard. A few changes to the noise and parking would make a big difference.
