We had a blissful seven-day stay. The gardens are beautiful, and the other guests’ kids had a ball playing with my child in the pool. We got such a warm welcome from the friendly staff, and the receptionist really looked after us, even letting us store fresh raw meat and milk in their freezer.

You can't operate a guest house and expect guests to stay quiet as mice.

The only room they had available was really unpleasant. It was dirty, and the mattresses were awful. I complained that one felt broken and squeaked. So yucky.

The pool was dirty and untidy, and the website photos looked decades out of date. Management was rude. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give.

Comfortable, clean rooms in a cosy, simple place. The hosts are hospitable. It isn’t extravagant, but it’s nice.
