Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, and the team quickly learned all our names and what we liked in the morning. Everyone was friendly and ready with help or suggestions. Our late arrival, caused by circumstances we hadn’t expected, was handled with real patience and care. The rooms were peaceful, comfortable and nicely decorated. Le Fleur B&B is in a pleasant neighbourhood, with the main street just a short walk away. There are restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby, and some wineries are within walking distance too. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thanks again to the team.

The staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They were welcoming, friendly and always glad to help. We also really enjoyed the food, which was carefully prepared and excellent. We spent two wonderful nights at Fleur du Soleil Luxury Guesthouse. It’s peaceful and beautifully maintained, with a location that’s close to everything while still feeling quiet and relaxing. We’d happily come back. Highly recommended.

Breakfast in the courtyard by the pool was a highlight, and the staff were brilliant and helpful. The guest house has lovely, spacious rooms around the swimming pool courtyard, plus gated parking. It’s about 10 minutes from the centre. We’ve stayed twice and recommended it to friends. There may be cheaper options elsewhere, but this place is worth every penny.

Victoria, the owner, shared lots of useful advice about Franshhoek over breakfast and helped arrange car transport to restaurants outside the main town. Wendy greeted us when we arrived with a chilled glass of bubbles and a warm smile, then gave us helpful tips about local restaurants and shopping. We spent three nights at Fleur du Soleil in March 2026, in the lovely Sunflower Room. It was very large, with a comfortable king size bed. The spacious bathroom had separate vanities with sinks, a private toilet, a separate shower and a soaker tub. We settled in quickly and really appreciated the extra care from the whole staff. A special thank you to Wendy for her kindness.

The staff are the reason this place is so special. Everyone was warm, friendly and keen to get to know us, and they were always happy to offer suggestions or help with anything. Nothing felt like too much trouble. This was our third stay at Fleur Du Soleil. We’ve tried a few rooms and loved each one for its own character. The location works so well, with an easy walk into town and several wineries nearby. We already loved breakfast on earlier visits, and this time the new cheese platter option really impressed us. It was better than some of the platters at wineries around there. We tell all our friends about Fleur and hope to come back when we can. Thanks for another amazing stay!
