We'd gladly stay at Macaron Guest House again after seeing how beautifully designed, spotless and comfortable the room was. It was honestly jaw-dropping when we walked in. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive the whole time. After long, hot days of wine tasting, it was lovely to cool off and relax in the saltwater pool. The location is great too, just one block from the main street, with restaurants, shops and even some wineries easy to reach on foot. Highly recommend it for a Franschhoek visit. 🍷

We had a lovely welcome from the helpful staff, and found our room well equipped with amenities. To us, it really lived up to the “boutique” in its name. Breakfast was good too. Umbrellas were a thoughtful extra, since the weather wasn't great during our stay. It's a lovely guest house tucked off the Main Street in Franschoek, in a great location. Definitely feels like a place for couples.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was the cosiest guest house we've visited. Nadia, the manager, was so friendly and helpful, and the rest of the staff were sweet and helpful too. The breakfast is among the best we've had. We loved everything about the Macaroon guest house and hope to return. Until then, we'll be recommending it to anyone who visits.

We stayed during the week and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Nadia and her staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The place is beautiful and peaceful, but still only a few minutes' walk from the high street. We'll definitely come back.
