Villa Vue

Villa Vue is a lovely, carefully put-together home, and the 180-degree sea view is stunning. You have to climb two fairly steep flights of steps to reach the main living area, but that extra height is what gives you such a beautiful outlook. The climb is worth it, and makes for good daily exercise. There’s loads of proper cupboard space in the bedrooms, plenty of plugs and adaptors, and lots of coat hangers. It’s a relief to find those little things ready to use instead of having to go shopping after unpacking. The house also has plenty of fridge and freezer space, plus a separate drinks fridge. Bags of ice were already in the freezer, which came in very handy. We did wish the fridge was quite a bit colder, though we couldn’t work out how to adjust it, and that’s probably easy to fix. We really appreciated the useful extras Bertha provides: a good washing machine, dishwasher, drinks fridge and, unexpectedly, a fabulous blender. They make a real difference. Staying here meant being surrounded around the clock by the sea view, salty air and lovely breeze. Thanks to Villa Vue’s owner, Bertha, for trusting guests with such good quality items and taking care of the small conveniences. It made for a luxurious place to rest and recharge.

There are plenty of roomy bedrooms, all with lovely views and lots of cupboard space. The big, well-equipped entertainment area also looks out over a stunning view. One of the best restaurants is just a stone’s throw away, so you don’t need to cook, and shark cage diving is right around the corner. Village Vue is well worth a stay!

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and really tried to make sure we had everything we needed. We spent a weekend away with colleagues in this lovely, clean, well-kept house. The ocean views were breathtaking, and the whole stay was a great experience.

We had a great time here with friends. The place was clean and tidy, and the ocean views were great. It felt like a home away from home. I also appreciated the stylish cutlery, crockery and wine glasses, since some guest houses skimp on those.
