Chris was a gem of a host, warm and helpful, and knew the area and what it had to offer. He kept checking that we were comfortable and topped up the room’s basics each day, including milk, tea, coffee, sweets, yoghurt, biscuits and muffins. Well done, and thank you, Chris ❤️

The room was spacious, and there’s a free braai available. The host was super friendly and made up for some of the place’s shortcomings. He moved me to a room with a King size bed at no extra cost. The place itself is extremely dated. The furniture is old, the kitchen smells and definitely wasn’t clean, and the bath and shower are very dated too. There isn’t much to do in or around Gans Bay, and Hermanus is the closest place, over 35 minutes away by car.

Chris, the owner, is super kind and really aims to please. We felt at home right away. The room was spotless, spacious and luxurious, with a balcony, an excellent view and everything we needed. Walkerbay Accommodation is GREAT! BIG THANK YOU, CHRIS 🥂

A severe cold front brought stormy weather that spoiled the wonderful views. Chris kindly gave us his gas heater to warm the room. There was also an electric blanket on the bed, which kept us warm.

The owner was very friendly and can be contacted on WhatsApp. The two-bedroom flat was lovely, with amazing views from one of the rooms and the terrace. There’s a nice route along the coast for walking or running.
