Gansbaai Seafront Holiday House: Ons C-huis

I slept like a baby, which hasn’t happened in a long time. My parents and I had such a peaceful, enjoyable mini holiday in Gaansbaai, and I loved that everything had been thought of in this home away from home. The house is beautiful, modern and well maintained, with a beach view from the balcony and my bedroom. We spotted a few whales and dolphins from the balcony. I had everything I needed, and Alida, Irma & Tanya were wonderful hostesses. They made me feel completely comfortable asking for any help. This was a break from my very hectic, stressful life, and I’ll definitely come back. Thank you for trusting me to stay in and care for your beautiful home. 🙏🥰🤗

There’s plenty of room, and the house has every amenity we could need. It’s a perfect place to braai, look for whales and watch an amazing sunset. We’ll definitely stay there again.

The rooms are very clean and everything is neat. It’s a nice beach house with an indoor braai area. But there were no gowns, even though it was still cold. It also isn’t equipped for load shedding, so you have to bring your own rechargeable lamps. That isn’t mentioned on their list of provided items.

The open-plan kitchen and living area lead onto a balcony facing straight out to sea. You can hear the waves and enjoy lovely sunsets, which makes it ideal for a getaway. If you’re lucky, you might spot whales too.
