Breakfast was the highlight, generous and delicious, with boxes delivered in the morning. The area was quiet and peaceful, yet we could walk to the main road, the 24hr McDonalds, and vida café just around the corner. Our late arrival had been arranged with Pieter, and we were warmly let in within five minutes. The grounds and rooms were neat and clean, and there was a coffee and tea station with a little box of milk, plus enough cutlery and crockery for two. We really enjoyed our stay at George executive suits. Thank you, Pieter, and René, even though we didn’t meet you personally. We’d love to come back soon.

We’d booked a room with a TV for the rugby on Sat 27th September and got there 10 minutes before kick off. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but there was no remote. After three calls, we finally reached someone, and the same lady came rushing back with a remote from another room. We missed the first 30 minutes of the game. She’d first let us in after a five minute wait, then hurried off without showing us anything, understandable with the rugby on. There was coffee, tea, and sugar, but no milk, and it seemed the room hadn’t been checked before we arrived. The included breakfast wasn’t mentioned either. That wasn’t a priority for us, though the booking did say it was included. We’d stay again, and hopefully there’ll be milk for a cuppa and a remote ready for the TV.

The rates are very good, and breakfast is generous. It’s a gem of a guest house, ideally situated, neat, clean, and quiet, with really friendly staff. If you need a place for work or a private stay, this is the one to contact. Thank you, Pieter, for your hospitality.
