We travel to PE regularly for business and have tried other places when 23 on Glen was fully booked, but nothing matches the comfort and hospitality here. It really feels like a home away from home. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff for another exceptional stay. The property is beautifully kept and the attention to detail is always clear, but what makes 23 on Glen special is the genuine warmth and welcome we’ve felt since our very first visit. Thanks for making each stay so memorable.

This was my second visit this year, and both stays were excellent. The rooms are peaceful, with soft beds, and on my first visit I didn’t hear my neighbours at all. I enjoy quiet time, so this is one of my top guest houses. The greeting at the door feels like an old friend has come to visit. Breakfast is always good. They don’t serve dinner, but there are plenty of places nearby if you want to eat out.

What made our stay at 23 on Glen Guest House so easy was how thoughtfully Vanessa looked after us and our two cats. One of them needs daily heart medication, and travelling with that can be stressful. Here, our pets were genuinely welcome and treated with such care. The rooms had everything we needed, including heated blankets, and we enjoyed the tasty breakfasts and free, secure parking on the lovely grounds. We had a wonderful time in the Eastern Cape and would love to come back.

The rooms had some of the loveliest design we saw on our Garden Route trip, and those modern plugs made me wonder why they aren't standard everywhere. The guesthouse has been beautifully renovated and furnished, with friendly, helpful staff and parking in the courtyard. Breakfast tasted good, though the portion was a little small. The WiFi kept giving us trouble despite staff trying to fix it, and the bathroom sliding door left a gap that didn't feel very private. Even so, we had a very positive stay and would recommend the place.
