The setting has real style, and it’s a good spot for breakfast buffet, lunch, or a celebratory dinner. The manager was very good, though follow-through needs work. We’ve been here a few times, and staff training and service standards still need attention. Like others in PE, they could raise the level of service. It’s one of the things that builds a brand.

Dear Nomfundo and team, thank you for stepping in at short notice during Tyremart Eastern Cape Dealers Sales Conference on Tuesday, 10 March. We had arrived at another venue, but its room was too small for our group and the presentation facilities weren't suitable. Within 45 minutes of contacting The Beach Hotel, your team arranged another boardroom with the full setup, refreshments, and catering. Everything went smoothly and without stress, and despite the last-minute request, you made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Your professionalism, speed, and friendliness were outstanding. Tyremart is grateful for the care and effort. We’ll confidently consider The Beach Hotel for future events. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to the whole team. The friendly service has been a highlight, especially from the restaurant, bar, and buffet staff. We’ve enjoyed chatting with Geoff and his restaurant team, and it’s clear people are happy in their jobs. The room is very spacious, and the lady who cleans it greets us with a smile. Reception has been helpful and friendly too. Chef deserves a shout out for turning meat or fish into a treat, and even making handmade chocolates that won't be on the menu until Wednesday so we wouldn't miss them. We’re on our last night after spending a few weeks here and there in SA, with a few hours to enjoy tomorrow before the long trip back to the UK. We’ve felt totally relaxed by day three. The Beach Hotel has that old fashioned charm as soon as you walk in, along with the modern amenities you need.

We had lunch on the patio, which has a lovely view and made for a relaxing break. There are lots of choices on the menu, the food was good, and the wait staff were friendly and knew the menu well.

Wednesday date night at The Crest Restaurant was a treat. The place was calm and quiet, with a lovely sea view and a romantic setup. The food was delicious, the wine was a perfect match, and the team gave exceptional service. 10/10, highly recommended.
