The Grand Hotel

Years ago, I sometimes ate there. The place looks lovely now, with that beautiful deep green shade, and I understand it may be under new management. Back then, the staff were friendly at first, especially the manager, but later a waitress became rude and nasty, which drove me away. I’d love to try it again, though I’m not allowed outdoors. I hope it’s a nicer place now. Sorry for letting those old experiences affect the possibility of future ones. That was years ago. Thank you for consulting me.

I've been living here for a month, and from my experience it's a good residence for young scholars. The place is hygienic, maintenance is good, and there's plenty of recreational space for different activities. The surrounding areas don't feel very safe, though.

The staff were quiet, helpful and well spoken, and the room price was reasonable, good value for money. My room had a comfortable bed, and both it and the shower-room and toilet were clean. The late 1800s architecture is quaint, with more than acceptable modern comfort. I didn't have any meals, so I can't comment on them. Parking is on the street, but when I asked, secure parking was provided for my vehicle, which was loaded with equipment. I'll certainly use the Grand Hotel again.

It was a beautiful hotel, with lovely decor and furniture, and the dining was good too. The hotel was great and neat, and the service was the best. It's now been turned into student accommodation, and students who need a place to stay can apply there.
